ICE Fall to Avros

 

Coming off a strong win against Interlake, the ICE took on the Avros in the fourth and final match in regular season play. The ICE headed into the game with a 2-1 win advantage vs the Avros. 

 

Early in the first period, Kraus forced the Avros defender to cough up the puck to a lone Medock in the slot. Maggie made no mistake as she put the puck past the goaltender to give the ICE a 1-0 lead. 

 

Heading into the second with a 1-0 lead for the ICE, the Avros battled hard to tie the game up at 1 a piece. 

 

The Avros momentum didn't stop, as they pressured hard and found the back of the net 3 times within a span of 5 minutes in the third period to give them a 4-1 lead and ultimatley win the game.

Looking at the positives 

Defencmen Liz Coleman continues to lead the team in +/- (+15) with her last minus coming 16 games ago, while Defencmen Sydni Bird recorderd her last minus on Nov 9th/18, 19 games ago. On the Forward side, Maggie Medock increases her +/- streak to 16 games without a minus, while Julia Bird leads the forwads in +/- (+13).
